Natural birth: A Unique Experience
Natural birth is more than just a choice. It is a way for a woman to experience labor by following her innate instincts and the natural flow of her body. The process places the woman at the center of childbirth, giving her full autonomy and a warm sense of trust.
In The Birth Center, every woman can experience her childbirth without unnecessary interventions, in full connection with her body and her child, within a safe and supportive environment.

Natural or Vaginal Birth: What’s the Difference?
Natural birth refers to childbirth without unnecessary medical interventions and epidural anesthesia. In vaginal birth, some medical interventions or epidural anesthesia may be used, but the woman still delivers vaginally. At The Birth Center, we offer women the option of natural birth, where the body and mind guide the process, always under the attentive care of our appropriately trained midwives.
Comprehensive Support and Information
We offer prenatal preparation classes, natural pain relief methods, relaxation and breathing techniques. The emotional support and guidance provided by the midwives at The Birth Center help women feel secure about the experience they are about to have.

Deeper Bond with the Newborn
The natural hormones produced during childbirth strengthen the bond with the newborn from the very first moment of birth.
Quick Recovery
The new mother quickly returns to her previous physical condition, ready to embrace the first moments with her child. With fewer interventions, labor is smoother and recovery is faster, allowing for a seamless start to the new chapter of life.
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
Is natural birth safe?
Yes, it is safe for most women, specifically those who meet the eligibility criteria for giving birth in a Natural Birth Center. At The Birth Center, a comprehensive care plan based on international standards is implemented, with the midwife serving as the primary care provider. There is also close collaboration and coordination with the Leto Clinic, offering medical services such as pregnancy ultrasounds and access to other specialties, as well as transfer options when deemed necessary. Our midwives are trained to promptly recognize any deviation from the normal physiology of childbirth, ensuring immediate referral to the appropriate medical specialty or effective coordination between The Birth Center and the Leto Clinic when needed. Even in such cases, the midwife remains consistently by the woman’s side, providing support within her scope of practice and working harmoniously with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuous care.
Does natural childbirth hurt?
Pain can be a part of the natural childbirth process, but it can be managed using various methods such as movement, changing positions, breathing techniques, massage and water. Our team is by every woman’s side to help her discover the relief methods that work best for her.
Can I choose natural childbirth if it’s my first child?
Absolutely! Natural childbirth is suitable for both women who have given birth before and those experiencing childbirth for the first time, provided they receive proper preparation and information.
For how long do I need to stay at The Birth Center after my child is born?
Women who meet the eligibility criteria and give birth in The Birth Center are expected to stay for monitoring between 6 and 24 hours.
